Members of the Romanian Federation of Medical Students’ Associations join forces with the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations, represented by Andrej Vujkovac – VP of Capacity Building, in the battle against the tobacco epidemic worldwide. Between the 3rd and 9th of September, in Kiev, Ukraine, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and World Health Organization are organising the European Regional Tobacco Control Leadership Program, aiming to build participants’ capacity in public policy and strategy making.

FASMR is strongly advocating for comprehensive tobacco control in Romania and calls upon Government and institutions to continue the fight against tobacco industry and prevent children from getting exoposed to this threat.
